 Group Classes

Click'Em Dog Training is pleased to be able to offer the following classes:

Mind Your Manners, Level 1

Level 1 is a beginning class open to dogs 4 months and older designed to introduce you and your dog to the basic behaviors needed for a mannerly dog. Some of the behaviors you and your dog will be learning are:

• Your dog paying attention to you
• Name recognition
• Sit
• Down
• Hand targeting
• Down on a mat

You will also start the beginnings of:

• Polite leash walking
• Coming when called

 Time: Saturdays @ 9:30

Cost: $100 for 4 weeks

Class is held once a week for 4 weeks. The first half hour of the first class is an orientation for people only, dogs will be left in the car. This is so I can discuss what clicker training and positive reinforcement are and go over how it is used in training.

Class size is limited to 4 students

Mind Your Manners, Level 2

In Level 2 you will fine tune the behaviors learned in Level 1, continue working on Coming When Called and Polite Leash Walking as well as adding the following behaviors:

• Heel Position
• Walking in Heel Positions
• Down/Sit from a distance
• Adding distractions and distance to behaviors learned in Level 1, such as sit and down.

Time: Saturdays @ 11:00

Class is held once a week for 4 weeks.

Cost: $100 for 4 weeks 

Class size limited to 4 students



Requirements:

• Current on the following vaccinations:

1. DHPP (distemper-parvo)
2. Rabies

• Puppies must have had their second round of vaccinations
• Dogs must be people and dog friendly. If you have a reactive dog to people or dogs please contact me about private lessons.

Equipment:

• Towel or mat for your dog to lay on
• Poop bags
• Flat leather or nylon collar. No choke or prong collars will be allowed. Other options are head halters, harnesses with a front clip and martingale collars.
• Leash with a minimum lenght of 6'. Leashes can be leather or nylon but no chain leashes please.

 Class Policies

• To participate in a group class your dog needs to be both dog and people friendly. If this is not the case with your dog or if you are not sure, please contact me for an evaluation or private lessons.

• To your first class please bring vaccination records, payment for class, and filled out registration form.
  
• Dogs need to be on leash at all times.
• Please be respectfull of other class members and keep a distance of at least 5 feet.
• Children under the age of 12 if attending will need to be supervised by someone other than the parent participating in class. If you are interested in your child taking the class too please contact me to discuss this.
• After the first class there will be no refunds. If between the time you register and class starts you find you need to cancel please contact me.
